How I Work

My therapy style is warm, practical, collaborative, and grounded in self-kindness. I help women understand what is happening beneath the overwhelm, reduce shame, and build strategies that feel realistic rather than punishing.

I draw from a range of approaches, including parts work with an attachment-informed perspective, solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness practices when they fit. I also bring a genuine, person-centered approach to therapy.

Together, these methods can help you understand inner conflict, recognize relationship patterns, make more intentional choices, and build practical strategies for anxiety, overwhelm, self-criticism, procrastination, emotional regulation, and ADHD-related challenges.

Parts work begins with recognizing that we all contain different aspects of ourselves—some protective, some critical, some longing for change. This approach invites curiosity and respect for each corner of your personality.

ACT focuses on helping you live by what matters most. It builds “psychological flexibility,” helping you make room for difficult emotions while taking meaningful action toward your values, even when life feels uncertain.

Struggling with focus, organization, or follow-through? CBT for ADHD builds practical skills for time management, planning, and emotional regulation, boosting confidence and productivity in daily life, work, and relationships.

More About Therapy

Starting therapy at Self‑Unlimited begins with an intake and planning session, where we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to be different. From there, we’ll decide together what feels like a good pace and focus for you. It’s a chance to slow down, untangle what’s been weighing on you, and start to organize your thoughts so things feel a little less overwhelming.

Therapy doesn’t have to be a lifelong commitment; sometimes a focused period of support is enough to help you through a transition or a difficult season. My aim is to offer a space where you can make sense of what’s happening, gain useful tools, and move forward with more clarity and confidence, in a way that fits your real life.

I am an out‑of‑network provider by design. This allows me to focus on thoughtful, consistent care without being limited by insurance company rules about session length, frequency, or treatment approach. Specialty providers often choose to work this way so therapy can be tailored to each person rather than to a policy.

If you have out‑of‑network benefits and would like to seek reimbursement, I’m happy to provide a superbill (itemized receipt) for your sessions that you can submit to your insurance company. Any reimbursement would be handled directly between you and your insurer.

I offer several options for scheduling our sessions:

  • Initial session and assessment (60 to 80 minutes): $ 175

  • Ongoing individual therapy session (55 minutes): $160

  • Extended ongoing therapy session (80 minutes): $ 210

  • Longer appointments may be available when clinically helpful and scheduling permits.
